Support to vulnerable children
A Halfway House for vulnerable children of Ladysmith area.
Built in rural areas, halfway houses are welcoming the most vulnerable children before and after school hours. They are offered meals, tutorship, and entertainment.

School Uniforms for the most disadvantaged in Swaziland
Designing Hope has established a distribution program of school uniforms for AIDS orphans and vulnerable children in Swaziland.

Exhibition of Embroidered poems

World Aids Day - St Ouen
On the occasion of the World AIDS Day on 1 December 2008, Designing Hope has been invited by the city of Saint Ouen to present its actions in Africa to the youth of the "Cap J". This action gave lead to new visual for "Artist4life". It also created bridges between the youth of St Ouen and the women of Swaziland.

Prevention Campaign in Romania
In collaboration with adolescents from project: "Picturing Hope", from "Baylor Black Sea Foundation", in Constanta (Romania), Designing Hope has developed a prevention campaign for the promotion of HIV-testing and the use of condom.

For the World Aids Day, Designig Hope has created cultural and social links between western countries and people affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa. The awareness campaign fighting against stigma and discrimination towards people affected by HIV/AIDS "I Love You Positive or Negative" was developped in France entitled "Positif ou Ngatif, je t'aime", in partnership with the City Council of Paris.

Youth sensitization
Pedagogical kit for the use of Artists4Life visuals in schools
Designing Hope and UNESCO have developped a pedagogical kit, using the artworks of Artists4life project, to sensitize school audiences to HIV and AIDS related stigma and discrimination through exercices and discussions, as well as to offer general knowledge about the disease and the ways to stop the spread of AIDS.

Music4Life Project
" Music4Life ": 15 international singers joined the campaign " I Love You Positive or Negative", and signed this message of tolerance towards the people affected by HIV / AIDS. Through their fame, fan clubs and web sites, each of them were able to have a positive impact on young people regarding the issue of discrimination associated with HIV.

The Malanda Community Hall-Piggs Peak-Swaziland
The project in Malanda was to create a place where everyone could practice various creative activities such as embroidery, gardening and painting for the children... In addition, a prevention program for the HIV+people was developed to inform the population of the HIV-AIDS virus.

I Love You Positive Or Negative Exhibition with the CLAJE
