Music4Life Project
" Music4Life ": 15 international singers joined the campaign " I Love You Positive or Negative", and signed this message of tolerance towards the people affected by HIV / AIDS. Through their fame, fan clubs and web sites, each of them were able to have a positive impact on young people regarding the issue of discrimination associated with HIV.

I LOVE YOU POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE CAMPAIGN

Since 2005, Dessine l'Espoir focused on a prevention campaign that fights the discrimination attached to HIV and AIDS: " I Love You Positive or Negative ".

This campaign bridged the activities of Dessine l'Espoir in Europe and Africa.

MOBILIZATION OF INTERNATIONAL MUSICIANS

For World Aids Day on 1st December 2005, Dessine l'Espoir and Designing Hope developed the concept of an event mobilizing international musicians around the campaign message "I Love You Positive or Negative" to fight stigma towards people living with HIV and AIDS.

15 famous singers, have signed this message of tolerance to break the stigma and discrimination affecting people living with the virus:
Keren Ann, Cali, Johnny Clegg, M, Marc Lavoine, Bertrand Belin, Tom Mc Rae, Sansévérino, Véronique Sanson, la Grande Sophie, Alain Souchon, Chris Stills, Tété, Laurent Voulzy, Zazie.

Through their messages and support via their web sites, fan clubs, and for some of them - concerts, they helped destigmatize HIV within their community.

REPRODUCTION IN EMBROIDERY AND BEADS

Their messages were embroidered in Swaziland by HIV-positive women on T-shirts and pillows. Their guitars of scene were also reproduced in small brooches of pearls by a group of HIV-positive women from Soweto.

AUCTION IN PARIS 2005

14 artists have signed the campaign message "I Love You Positive or Negative". Their signatures have been framed to be auctioned and to fundraise for the activities of the NGO.

Prototypes, original messages signed by the artists and an exclusive real guitar offered by Gibson and signed by all artists were auctioned on the 22nd of November 2005 by Remy Le Fur at the Intercontinental Grand Hotel Paris. This was to the exclusive profit of Dessine l'Espoir to fund its cause in Africa. 20 000 Euros were raised at this event.

Designing Hope has partnered with KYP (Kliptown Youth Project), a project in Kliptown-Soweto a slum in one of the poorest townships in Greater Johannesburg.
